What do you like about Lubbock? I like that it is not too big or small. Great sports town and the friendliest people I have ever met. Weather is very nice.
What do you dislike about Lubbock? There are dust storms occasionally and it is a very conservative city. There is not a wholoe lot of culture or diversity here.
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? Well I usually just hang out in the depot district(entertainment). There is nothing that really distinguishes one area from the other. I wouldn't suggest going to the east side at night though.
How expensive is it? It is very cheap to live here.
Is it safe? Well I have not had any problems. It just depends on where you are as in any other city.
How is the weather? Not too humid. Very sunny. Mild winters. The wind chill can get pretty low at times.
Additional thoughts? I do like this city because they care about Texas Tech so much. I could not really see myself living here for the long haul but there are several places that are worse.
