What do you like about Statesboro?
The Unitversity, and if you drive from downtown Statesborro back towards campus you somehow manage to come out on fair road or the raod that takes you out to Walmart
What do you dislike about Statesboro?
Small, It does have selection for things but it's mall is small and the dept stores in it are slightly smaller than normal, so everything's crammed in it. but If you are looking to find some certain chains you may not find them (ex: no Target)
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? The campus, sometimes by the little lake the or sweetheart circle. outside campus they just put in this small waterpark in mill creek park.
How expensive is it? moderate, you can find inexpensive things, but also there are things that are expensive like movies, gas is about 10 cents cheaper than in Atlanta (which is already about 20-30 cents below natl average) .
Is it safe? probably there's Statesborro cops and on the college campus they have stations to call campus police from in emergencies
How is the weather? hot when it's a nice day, really wet on rainy days, and not the best drainage.
Additional thoughts?
Statesborro is a small college town. location wise it's about an hour away from Savannah, and the beach is about an hour drive after that. it takes about 4.5 hrs to get to Atlanta.
