What do you like about Lake Havasu City? Everyone in this town is really friendly and they have a laid-back attitude. It is a great city to visit and vacation in.

What do you dislike about Lake Havasu City? As it is in the middle of the desert, unless you have water toys or off-roading toys, there is not a whole lot to do. Once a person is out of high school, there is not much in the way of employment here. Not to mention the wages are horrible and the summers are ridiculously hot.

What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? The hiking trails in Sara Park are very peaceful

How expensive is it? Definetly not as much as most other areas, but the real estate continues to climb as more people move here. Unfortunately, the wages don't follow that trend (courtesy of living in a \"right to work\" state).

Is it safe? Yes

How is the weather? Winter: very mild, 50s to 60s, but windy. Spring and Fall: temps in the 80s-90s. Summer: 120 every year, never fails.

Additional thoughts? This is a wonderful city to vacation and retire, not so much to live in once you're out of high school. That may or may not change, because this city is growing very quickly. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, it's like a non-stop party! People come from across the country to go crazy on our lake during this time (and of course, Spring Break). But the police do a really good job of keeping things in check. It's a good place to raise your kids if you want them to grow up away from crime. Watch out for those summers though, they're really hot!
