What do you like about Santa Fe? Interesting people, liberal, artsy, non-mainstream, lack of traffic, openness, # of gay people, casual.
What do you dislike about Santa Fe? Lack of decent-paying jobs, people can be very screwed up, dating scene is poor, allergies are off-the-charts (once you've lived here for awhile), music scene isn't great, there's nowhere to go out, public schools are not good, restaurants are mediocre, drivers are ridiculously poor (and often DUI).
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? Guadalupe district, South Capitol.
How expensive is it? Very--deceptively so.
Is it safe? basically
How is the weather? Usually great. This year, terrible!
Additional thoughts? Don't move here without a job. Don't move here without a job that pays well. Don't move here expecting to have a career track.

Santa Fe is incredibly rich in culture, art, spirituality/religion, and most of all beautiful scenery & nature. A bit pricey, but well worth it in my opinion. And you just cant beat New Mexican cuisine! Que Viva 505, mucho amor por vida!
