What do you like about Lexington-Fayette?
Hard to say now that they're selling all of the horse farms and building things all over the place.
What do you dislike about Lexington-Fayette?
The climate. Generally the people are friendly but... conservative, I guess. No artistic outlets and closed minds.
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in?
Downtown, campus
How expensive is it?
Pretty cheap
Is it safe?
Safe enough
How is the weather?
Hot and humid in the summer, warm to cool falls and springs, cold rainy winters
Additional thoughts?
It's alright if you like the down home small town feel, but if you're looking for anything arty or quirky, try somewhere else.

Lexington is amazing. It is the most beautiful place I have ever lived, and I still love to visit there frequently due to a large amount of family throughout Kentucky. Lexington is one of my favorite cities ever. There are friendly people in a beautiful setting.
