What do you like about Oceanside?
Oceanside is a very fun city, with its amazing beaches, but other than that, the best part is its location near Camp Pendleton, Vista, and Carlsbad, as well as simply being in San Diego County, but also on the edge of it.
What do you dislike about Oceanside?
The only downsides are that there isn't very much in Oceanside that makes it really stand out, save for maybe its pier and San Luis Obispo.
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in?
Generally, Coast Highway near the pier is the hub of activity. On Thursdays, there is a swap meet of sorts where vendors set up in the streets to sell whatever they want.
How expensive is it?
The inland parts of Oceanside aren't very expensive, in a moderate price range. However, closer to the shore, houses can get very expensive for their location and views, up to a couple million.
Is it safe?
Generally, Oceanside is a safe city.
How is the weather?
The weather is amazing, the cold days here are the warm ones elsewhere, in the 60s. The hot ones are generally rare though, in excess of 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Generally the temperature is in the 70s, and the sky is often clear with a couple of clouds here or there. Marine layer is the only thing that can be either beautiful or unsightly at certain times of day.
