What do you like about Phoenix?
What do you dislike about Phoenix?
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in?
How expensive is it?
Is it safe?
How is the weather?
Additional thoughts?

mild winters

damn hot summers that last too long, too many people from California, too spread out, poor public transportation, the desert has been raped-The city has lost it's soul

Far away enough from the city so that I can be in the desert again, if you can still find it

It is getting more expensive to life here and salaries do not compensate

It is relatively safe, stay away from the barrio and be street smart

Please, I already talked about the weather, summers last from mid April till mid October, never used to be so bad but now the city is full of concrete and cannot cool off at night during the hell season, it SUCKS

"This desert city has too many people and it's got no soul"...full of disconnected, looking for something else from disfunctional where ever and the worst part are the Californicators that move here.....tall walls in yards and neighborhoods do not know what community means.....stay away from here; if I could, I would move back to NJ, people are very transient here, move here if you like no sense of connections with others or have no family or ethnic values, that is unless you are Mexican, they are a tight group

What do you like about Phoenix?
How easy it is get around. Awesome city grid and an even better freeway system that (much needed) is being expanded. Easy to get around if you have a car, however.
What do you dislike about Phoenix?
Too cookie-cutter. All of the new houses look the same. The city needs to worry about its forgotten inner-core as well as the new suburbs.
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in?
Downtown, Westgate, Mill Ave., and hiking. The best part about hanging out in Phoenix is you have to explore around the city to find something to do. You can find really cool things do, just not late at night. We resort to a park, Denny's, Wal-Mart, or Sky Harbor Airport which are all open 24 hours.
How expensive is it?
Not at all
Is it safe?
It is. I hang out all night every night and I haven't run in to a lot of trouble. I hang out all over the valley too.
How is the weather?
It feels like I'm in a dryer.
Additional thoughts?
Phoenix is a cool city. If you want to move here, don't move into a suburb... move more into the core.
