What do you like about Krakow?
It's a gorgeous city. While the capital city, Warsaw, might be the heart, Krakow is the undisputed soul of Poland.
What do you dislike about Krakow?
Some of the "suburbs" were built during the communist times, and look out of place.
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in?
The city centre has everything you might wish for, a great night life, many restaurants and cafes, plenty of places to shop, museums, art galleries, etc, etc
How expensive is it?
To visit, Poland is cheaper than many other Europen counties. To live, compared to other cities, probably more expensive, but then, most major cities are.
Is it safe?
Because of the higher unemployment, the crime is on the rise all over Poland. However, I've never had any problems.
How is the weather?
Poland has all 4 seasons, cold winters, hot summers, and spring and autumn, which, unlike in a lot of other countries, last long enough for you to enjoy them.
Additional thoughts?
I can't recommend this city enough. It has so much to offer! If it's not possible for you to live there, at least visit Krakow, you won't be disappointed!
