What do you like about Dakhla? What I love about Dakhla is that the town is very small and quaint. Before I left, I started to feel like it was my town also. When you visit, it feels as if you have stepped back into time.

What do you dislike about Dakhla? I disliked how the people stared at me everywhere I went. Apparently, it is rare that a caucasian woman visits. I felt like a circus freak.

What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? No place inparticular. The people walk in the streets and cruise through town of the evening. Possibly because that is the only entertainment in the city.

How expensive is it? It is very unexpensive

Is it safe? No crime. Many people with limited means have blankets as doors. That should speak for something.

How is the weather? The weather is perfect. A bit windy though.

Additional thoughts? I love Dakhla. I look forward to returning soon.
