What do you like about Gillette? I like the fact that it is a smaller city but there is still diversity.
What do you dislike about Gillette? The people here are rude and the main stores are extremely crowded. My main complaint would have to be that the city is trying to recruit people to live here, but they aren't worried about those that have been here for years and are living out of tents or motorhomes because there isn't adequate housing.
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? There is absolutely NO where to hang out around here.
How expensive is it? Very.
Is it safe? For the most part with the exception of driving. (People here can NOT drive!)
How is the weather? Winters get extremely cold (-50... not kidding) and summers are short and dont get really warm until about July.
Additional thoughts? Compared to where I was living previously this is a very beautiful area, lots of hills and plateaus. Usually green, but this year was a little different. There are mountains, lakes, and lots of trees. They put alot of work into making this town look nice by putting sculptures up around town as well as flower beds and murals.

What do you like about Gillette? It was my home town and is small.
What do you dislike about Gillette? The size, 25-30k people, growing rapidly however. There is a housing shortage but you can find one if you really look. They are working on building many houses.
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? well there is many parks, frisbee golf, skatepark, mountains arent fare, lakes arent far.
How expensive is it? Pretty expensive. Not as expensive as large cities though.
Is it safe? I always thought it was
How is the weather? average spring and fall conditions, cold winters, hot summers, all around well. Very windy however.
Additional thoughts? You can make a lot of money here, more than most large cities. I enjoyed growing up here and plan to return someday to start a family.
