What do you like about Manchester? Proximity to Boston, the ocean and mountains. Decent variety of restaurants for small city. Fair amount of entertainment.
What do you dislike about Manchester? Traffic. Lack of shopping downtown.
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? North End is probably the best place to live. Downtown is where most of the action is.
How expensive is it? It's expensive. Housing, registration/taxes are all expensive. Salaries make it proportionate though.
Is it safe? Yes. There are some shady areas though.
How is the weather? 4 seasons. Cold, snowy winters. Rainy spring. Short, humid summers. Fall can be warm and cold, but beautiful.
Additional thoughts? Overall it's an up and coming small city.
