What do you like about Scarborough? Lots of protected land, beaches, and other beautiful scenery and recreation. Also very close to Portland and the malls.
What do you dislike about Scarborough? There's no downtown to speak of, and the local shops/restaurants are just awful (although good ones are only a few minutes out of town).
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? Scarborough is just a bunch of neighborhoods, nowhere to really hang out other than the beaches and parks.
How expensive is it? Quite affordable.
Is it safe? Yes, it's extremely safe.
How is the weather? Typical New England weather -- four distinct seasons with extreme weather and clouds/fog.
