What do you like about Monroe? quiet, lots of green space
What do you dislike about Monroe? not alot for high school/college age people to do; older people in the community don't like to see anything change; smell of the paper mill
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? garden district, antique alley, the parks
How expensive is it? average
Is it safe? for the most part
How is the weather? mild winter, hot and humid summer
Additional thoughts?
monroe has great potential as a town, but i'm afraid there are people in control that won't let much happen. it is a great place to live to raise your children, or perhaps retire.
