Fort Worth is a great town. It's laid-back but sophisticated. It's not a huge city so you don't have to deal with a lot of those problems, but it has the Basses so it has a great zoo, opera house, downtown, and museums. I like the West Side of Fort Worth personally, like around Camp Bowie and downtown, as well as the Hulen and University area. Fort Worth definitely has it's bad sections, and you'd be a fool to not be careful. It's moderately expensive. The weather is hot of course, but not too humid.
