What do you like about Staten Island? Its close to the city, but its nothing like the city. You can park your car and not have to worry about alternate side parking, and you dont have to push through crowds of ppl to get everywhere.
What do you dislike about Staten Island? The people are so isolated and ignorant. They all smoke, dont finish h.s and work as secretarys in doctors offices.
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? St. George or Bay st.
How expensive is it? not too expensive
Is it safe? yea pretty safe
How is the weather? pretty good. hot summers, nice springs
Additional thoughts?
If you can get over the actual people who occupy the island, and their strong "staten island" accents, its actually a nice place to live. You get the benefit of having a home with the white picket fence just a ferry ride away from manhattan.
