What do you like about Buffalo? There is a little of everything here and the food is amazing.
What do you dislike about Buffalo? the economy, neighborhoods going downhill fast
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? downtown is fun but there are a ton of outdoor activities that are unbelievable and just a short drive, like letchworth, allegahny, and zohr valley. Plus there is the lake and tons of beaches
How expensive is it? Average
Is it safe? Parts are and parts arent as with any town
How is the weather? winters are horrible but you get 4 full seasons
Additional thoughts? it can be a great place if you just appreciate everything you have a round you. its the best of any world within a half hour ride. plus the sports fans are like no other!!!

What do you like about Buffalo?
I like the food the wings of La Nova, Anchor Bar, and other spots with Buffalo Chicken Finger Subs, Wegmans Subs and , and it is close to Canada.

What do you dislike about Buffalo?
It is very narrowminded and polerized. Very Racist and segerated. It is somewhat of the mentality of if it ain't white it isn't right. No jobs up there. they only rely on the steal industry. The ladies are ugly and fat. Bars are OK but it gets old fast. The only bars they have are drinking spots or neighborhood bars or college bars. The only alternative is going across the river to Canada and checking out Toronto (1 hour and 20 minutes away), or going to the Strip Clubs in Fort Erie, ON, Canada or Niagara Falls, ON, Canada. The other problem is that everyone is a Buffalo bills fan and they make too much out of their sports becuase there is nothing much there.

What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in?
Going to UB south campus, Going to Canada, or maybe visiting the Anchor Bar

How expensive is it?
A bargin but look at the economy and the nightlife which isn't great.

Is it safe?
Depends on where you are at. South East Buffalo before Clinton Street can be rough and some parts of the South East Side along Niagara Street is rough too but overall it is not as bad at all. Just a cliquish racist town. That's the problem and they need better business there as well.

How is the weather?
Winter is very cold and gets lots of snow and cold winds from Lake Erie or some of the local rivers. Summer is too short there.

Additional thoughts?
If the town could think or come up with more of an imagination and think outside of the box with the economy instead of relying on the steal mills to open up then it would be OK. The racist towns need to change to make me come up there. And get real nightclubs as well and some more culture then it could be a place to stop by before you venture into Canada. By the way I grew up in Westchester County, NY 15 minuates north of the Bronx so I know good areas from messed up areas.
