What do you like about New York City?
Everything. Even the things I hate about it are things I love about it. It's noisy, dirty, chaotic, diverse and amazing. I could spend all day just watching people or looking at buildings.

What do you dislike about New York City?
It is RIDICULOUSLY expensive. Home ownership is a pipe dream for the vast majority of residents.

What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in?

Live in- Brooklyn, because you get twice the space for the money and can still find true neighborhoods as opposed to homogenized gentrification that is becoming the hallmark of Manhattan.

Hang out in- Manhattan and Brooklyn, most parts. Love the museums, the parks, the

How expensive is it?
Beyond expensive. This is a city for the very rich.

Is it safe? Yup.

How is the weather?
Summer is hell. It's sweltering and the subways smell like a huge ripe armpit. You're drenched in sweat ten seconds after you leave the house. Spring and fall are gorgeous. Winter is kind of a let down lately thanks to global warming. It doesn't really get particularly cold in the winter, nor is there much in the way of snowfall. I'll take winter in NYC over summer in NYC ANY day.
