What do you like about St. Louis? It's history and architecture
What do you dislike about St. Louis? It's in the bible-belt, it's too conservative, and a little behind in progressive thinking, re: environment, culture
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? Lafayette Square, newly moved into BWP, Soulard, S. Grand
How expensive is it? Pretty cheap, compared to the West coast
Is it safe? Depends on area, it's getting better though
How is the weather? Pretty much sucks, but better the KC, as far as MO goes.
Additional thoughts? There are some really great things about St. Louis, one thing is that the art community is getting better, and it's not so big that it costs a fortune to live here. The buildings are beautiful, and you can still get some amazing property for the money. There are some kick ass mosaic artists here!
