What do you like about Minneapolis?

Minneapolis is exploding with culture. (I'm speaking fo St. Paul a little, but I don't usually visit St. Paul) We have two world class professional orchestras. The Minnesota Orchestra is one of the best in the world, granted it isn't publicised enough. There are more theaters per capita then in New York. City. We have a few fantastic museums. There is the Univeristy of Minnesota, which has a great liberal arts program (as well as others) and is active in showcaseing them, so if you dont want the professional arts, check out what is happening at the U and it is still world class. Also, There is always something new and interesting to visit and explore.

What do you dislike about Minneapolis?
I don't like that it doesn't get the credit it deserves. Nor the publicity.

What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? Downtown before all the businesses close, and then Uptown.

How expensive is it?
Being a poor private college student I can still manage to go out and not cry over the dollars I spend. So I'm going to have to go with it being decent.

Is it safe? Depends on the area and the time. I've never been scared in my situation. Walk with others at night, don't go into the bad parts. It's a city, stuff happens.

How is the weather? I love it. I love winter so I don't have any probelms. I don't like the humidity during the summer though.

Additional thoughts?
Minneapolis is amazing. The Minnesota Orchestra is amazing. It has a beautiful skyline. And Wonderful coffee.
