What do you like about Palm Beach?
The weather. The increase in real estate prices. The affluence of the people here. The entertainment complexes like CityPlace and Downtown at The Gardens. The promiximity to "doing things" (the beach, Disney, Miami, Keywest). The abundance of restaurants. The many shopping malls. But most of all, Palm Beach County has great practical churches.

What do you dislike about Palm Beach?
You drive everywhere. There is very little social interaction with people unless you actively seek it. Residential new development consists of homes with very little lots. A lot of commercial new development consists of big box retail stores with very little character besides an overall "yuppie" feel (mainly out west near 441/State Road 7).

What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in?
The beach, CityPlace

How expensive is it?
The average home price went from low 100's to almost 500k in the last five years.

Is it safe?

How is the weather?
Great. Nice winters, hot/humid summers that you love on and off. I love the tropical "rainy seasons" that last for a few weeks a couple times a year. February and March have the most beautiful weather.

Additional thoughts?
I recommend joining a great church where you can get to meet people and know God personally.
