What do you like about Tampa? Its very commercial and is steadily becoming a metropolis. The Current boom in condos and other big corporations moves here have caused the skyline to expand. The area has a variety of cultures, similar to that of Miami's full of Cubans and Hatians everywhere. The nightlife is improving and there is starting to actually ALWAYS be something to do in this city that used to be considered a B-list place to visit. The waterfront and Channelside area is beautiful, as well it's rich history. And its clean.
What do you dislike about Tampa?Well with the condo boom and the highways expanding day to day, soon this place will be another Miami in about 10 yrs. or so. Gone will be the days that Tampa was a big city with a small town charm.
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in?Ybor city, Channelside, Downtown, New Tampa, and well everywhere really.

How expensive is it?Really expensive. Soon to be worse after they finish with the boom in population.
Is it safe? Fairly safe.
How is the weather?Gorgeous
Additional thoughts?
Tampa is definitly a city on the rise, more and more nationally you here of this place, and it shows in the area.

i like tampa because it's close to the ocean. you can breathe in salt water air and it seems like salt water cures sinus problems. in north georgia where i used to live when i was growning up i has severe sinus problems. but no sinus problems in tampa. i also think that tampa has a pretty skyline
What do you dislike about Tampa?the crime is a little high but i dont care. i 'd rather live here all my life rather in the low crime rate of north georgia
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? i like the downtown area. and i like driving to st.pete beach on the weekend.
How expensive is it?i don't know i cant rate it
Is it safe?st. pete beach is very safe but downtown tampa has a higher crime rate.although st.pete has been shortly increasing in crime over time but doesnt have major crime rates
How is the weather?awesome! in n. georgia in the appalachian foothills the weather was very hot and humid and i thought it was a tad bit hotter than tampa. tampa wasnt as hot as i thought it would be in the summer because your close to the ocean and you get a nice breeze from it. it's not as humid here.
Additional thoughts?
at the beach there are alot of nice looking girls and women
