What do you like about Orlando? It's close to the ocean.

What do you dislike about Orlando? There is only one highway that goes through it that isn't a toll road. All the toll roads lead to Disney. It's impossible to get anywhere in less than 45 minutes.

What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? Downtown, the parks... it's a short drive to the water.

How expensive is it? Very high. Everything is deared toward tourism, which makes it inconvenient for the people who actually live there.

Is it safe? Pretty much.

How is the weather? Unbearibly hot during the summer months.

Additional thoughts? Painting stucco in spring colors doesn't make anything look more appealing.

What do you like about Orlando?
The different places to go.

What do you dislike about Orlando?
Tourists, always taking pictures and walking slow, it gets annoying sometimes. Also, with all of the tourists, it gets messy.

What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in?
I-Drive and Festival Bay

How expensive is it?
Housing is getting very expensive. Everything else is pretty normal

Is it safe?
depends where you live

How is the weather?
humid most of the year. The best weather is during the winter time, we get coldfronts every other week or so. Hurricanes aren't that bad, except in 2004 when we had 3 hurricanes back to back.

Additional thoughts?
Orlando is really a nice place. As a native here, you know all the good spots. There are many places that barely anybody knows about, so Orlando really doesn't get credit for things outside of tourists and theme parks. There are many wonderful art museums, science museums and music scenes. Very educational.
