What do you like about San Diego?
Close to everyting, beaches, mountains, desert. Can always find a party or celebration any day of the week.

What do you dislike about San Diego?
Cost of living here is outragous, Hi maintenance chicks that say "no". job markets for certain industries are saturated (w/o room for adv)due to a flood of graduates who will work for less. SOME areas (altho few) have a substance abuse issue, use you're head, avoid them and stay alive.

What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in?
To live...beach for sure. Hang out, hell I'll hang out anywhere as long as there is something entertaining going on.

How expensive is it?
Pretty F*%^#in expensive. Houses go for no less than 500k, if youre lucky it might even be in a nicer part of town. Rentals... kiss your disposible income good-bye and plan on eating lots of ramen if you want to rent in a nice neighborhood.

Is it safe?
For the most part YES. Keep your eyes open, be aware of your surroundings and whats goin on around you. If it looks shady get out of there. Comon sense

How is the weather? Weather is awesome 90% of the time.

Additional thoughts?
If you're a musician (even a good one) and depend on your craft for income, this town sorta sucks a**. Have a good day job. Venues around here seem to be in bed with each other and have a cap on what they will pay for original bands. Ironically, tribute bands are big out here at the moment (go figure) and sorry to say get paid better than the original bands.
