What do you like about Tucson? I really enjoyed the bohemian subculture, very genuine people who are smart without putting on airs and beautiful surroundings.
What do you dislike about Tucson? The summers are absolutely brutal.
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? the area around club congress
How expensive is it? extremely affordable. I've lived in a number of US cities and it was the best cost of living/wages ration that I experienced.
Is it safe? very...I often would walk home from the bars at 1 am and never had any problems or even felt unsafe.
How is the weather? The winters are gorgeous but the heat in the summer is pretty rough.
Additional thoughts?I lived there from 1996-1998, and had a great time. I've kept in touch with friends from there, and have gone back to visit. I'm hoping to get accepted to U of A for graduate school so I can return.
