What do you like about Buenos Aires?Well im in,love with this city, i cant describe it so easy, it has a lot to do and so many different ways to do it. First start with the hotels, hostels, apparts, lofts for rent, anything u want, and such low prices not like NY, then the shops, there are a lot of shoppings centres, but also little boutiques, sweetshops, baquery shops, candy and cake, coffes, mega shops with any gadgets for computers, fitness shops, delicatesen and cuisine shops, ahh, jewellry ans gemsstones, here they have very good quality, actully the highest i found in southamerica, a best jewellers ever, sterling silver, 18kts gold, anything you want, they have it, and the stones, ahh, they drive you crazy. i went to the gretest shop ever, its JCB Gems&Carvings, just at the downtown, on paraguay 623 and florida streets, it was a bless for me, because i have had a bad day, because of ht e weather and they wellcame me, and gave me the nicest directions to get through the city anyway, so as it was raining i started looking at aaaaaaalllll the carvings and colorfullstones they have, all amazing, and very nice price. i bought some presents in the rodochrosite stone, they national stone, only found inthis quality and quantity there in argentina, they have the very best stones, nothing compared anywhere, actually they keep the prices low, because they dont make a lot of advertize, but if it wasnt for them, i wouldnt noy even know about the wine market, then the very great flea market in San telmo, the Brasserie La petanque, very exquisite French cooking and cuisine, and such low prices again.
I went to the colon, and it was closed for refactiones, or something like that, it was all a mess, they are making an extreme makeover of the building it'll be open again next february.
i traveled by subway and bus, then by night i took a few taxys, here and there, puerto ,adero is a very nice view of the duck area, but not of the city, you have to go to el congreso, avenue callao an rivadavia, there you will see de difference, please take your camera with you, and by night you allways get together at one of this docens pizzarias and ask for "empanadas", you have to eat it to believe it.
Take a few mornings, for visiting some of the museums, or tango classes, and get in touch with the most passion side of the city, there are a lot of lost hearts waiting for that stranger to come and just dance with them.

What do you dislike about Buenos Aires? no much> there are the big friday night traffic jams, and very noisy, to much constructions, and roads building, its like a city over the city, and during the night everybody is outthere, drinking, its such a living city, 24 7 never ending fun!!!!!

What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? belgrano, las canhitas, then palermo soho, and the hollywood side, ohh, plus 10, its crazy, gays, lesbians, and friends, divorses partyies, clubs, dinners, weddings, everything you can plan and do there, and the little shops, allways expensive exclusive and open for your credit cards to pass by, lol!!!

How expensive is it?it is a little expensive if you keep buying all the time, but actually as the exchange is 5to1 for pounds, and 3to1 for dollars, everyone is invited, to have that exclusive dream that back at home you woudnt believe of.

It is as safe as, home, you know ny has a lot of things going on, do you? well here the those things are exsactly the same, so be aware of pick pockets, and lose woman, and very aware of the tour guides, they take you only the places they have arranged a comition with so, when you finish buying, more than the 25% of four money$, she or he will be taking just when you get to the hotel, believe me, i saw it. One morning, our bus was at la Boca and we stopped there because its the tippical neighborhood of the ancient buenos aires, but not as lovely as the downtown, there are three streets, and if you pass far from there, you wil be robbed, not only that, the guides and the buss men, take your money all the time, wherever they take you to, you are being extracharged, just because u came with them, so the prices for groups are allways higher, and even do they give u discounts, it doesnt matter, they have ricen even more the price, u woudnt believe it!!!

What do you like about Buenos Aires? Food, Energy, Entertainment
What do you dislike about Buenos Aires? Garbage, Graffiti, Protests, Lazy Bureaucratic Police Force and Local Government
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? Florida, Puerto Madero, Liniers
How expensive is it? A bargain
Is it safe? It can be difficult. It is more dangerous than most American cities for crimes like robbery and kidnapping. It resembles Sao Paulo or Mexico City more than anywhere else.
How is the weather? Temperate.
Additional thoughts?
Its an interesting city that would be fantastic if they cleaned it up a little. Removing the garbage from the city streets and the graffiti from supposedly historical statues would be a nice start. Still its a wonderful place to visit.
