What do you like about Birmingham? The city centre, the food choice, some of the old architecture, the nightlife, the connections, Christmas Market

What do you dislike about Birmingham? The dangerous areas of Sparkhill and Sparkbrook, rising crime, sometimes dirty, 60s/70s architecture, no parks in the city centre

What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? Bull Ring, Victoria Square, Centenary Square, Digbeth, Solihull, Shirley, Lickey Hills

How expensive is it? Average on UK levels. Expensive compared to other countries

Is it safe? In many areas including the city centre areas yes. Asian areas and some areas after dark are quite dangerous.

How is the weather? Meh. Summers are usually pleasant but range from miserably rainy to sometimes hot and sunny. Winters are grey with snow occasionally, depending on the year (this year we have had lots of snow)

Additional thoughts? Its an industrial, bleak city, but one improving and progressing.
