What do you like about Pïŋ―rnu? You'll never get lost in this city. Easy to find a job. Quite many shops. I don't know if I should put this under the positive or negative column, there is so many policemen and always controlling everything, but if you're not doing anything wrong, it's quite good. It is a very safe city though. I'm so used to leaving my bag on some random corner at the club because I know that nobody would steal it. PÃĪrnu has the most beautiful beach in Estonia, Finnish people come here in summer because of that, it's also the summer capital of Estonia. In winter there is soooo much snow, the beach looks like it's a cloud or sth. For tourists PÃĪrnu seems to be interesting. It is a very clean city.
What do you dislike about Pïŋ―rnu? I've lived here for 18 years and it is quite boring in here. In weekends there's only like 20 people in the city, everyone whines that there's nothing to do, but nobody does anything about it. People are so negative and there are violent Russians and many old people who hate young people and always complain how bad their lives are. If you're young person from a big city, then you'll see that the style is bad here. It is so awfully cold here that even Estonians never get used to it. I mean like minus 30 degreez in winter and then 2 months in a row.
What are your favorite parts of the city to live and/or hang out in? Well the most popular place to live in is some place near to the beach or to the city. I live over the bridge towards to Tallinn and it's a very pleasant and quiet area. And another good thing about it is that you can get everywhere on foot.

How expensive is it? Cheap, but the pay is also very low. For example, my friend worked here in McDolnalds, got 40 kroons per hour and now works in London at the same place and gets 120 kroons per hour.
Is it safe? Yes, but the whole Estonia is very safe (maybe places near to Russia are not that safe)
How is the weather? In winters it gets really cold, -30 on celsius(it is that kind of wet cold, so it's very much colder here in -30 than in Siberia in -60), in summer the average temperature is approx. 17 on celsius (sometimes 35, but it's too hot for Estonians).
Additional thoughts? if you want to be on your own PÃĪrnu is the perfect place for you, because nobody will come and speak with you if you won't start.
